We are hiring a Director to lead our CASP-licensed entity in Lithuania. This senior role requires deep regulatory expertise, strategic leadership, and direct engagement with Lithuanian and EU supervisory authorities under MiCA (EU Regulation 2023/1114).
Critical requirements
- Resident or regularly present in Lithuania for supervisory purposes.
- No criminal record (economic, financial, or corruption-related offences); not banned from managerial roles under Lithuanian/EU law.
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Law, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in financial services, fintech, or crypto.
- Strong knowledge of MiCA, Lithuanian Crypto-Assets Law, AML/CTF, GDPR.
Language Requirements
- Fluent Lithuanian (spoken and written) – mandatory.
- English (CEFR C1 or higher) – mandatory.
Key responsibilities
- Lead overall strategy and operations for authorized crypto-asset services (custody, exchange, etc.).
- Ensure full compliance with MiCA and Lithuanian crypto regulations.
- Represent the company before supervisory bodies (Bank of Lithuania, FNTT).
- Develop and maintain internal governance, AML, and risk management frameworks.
- Supervise key functions: MLRO, Compliance Officer, and senior management team.
- Lead the strategic direction and management of the company in accordance with the relevant authorised crypto-asset services (custody, exchange, etc.).
- Drive business growth and operational scalability by setting performance targets, overseeing product strategy, innovating crypto-related offerings, and ensuring the company remains competitive and financially sustainable in the evolving crypto asset market.
